Why should you choose to harness the power of nature to help you sort out the big issues in your life?
Because we are meant to be outside, even though we live most of our lives indoors. Our indoor structures were intended to provide us temporary protection from the elements and predators, but they’ve also had the unexpected consequence of blocking out community and keeping us from seeing the big picture, especially when we’re feeling stuck in life.
Unlike conventional sessions, Wellness Coaching that both incorporates and happens in nature removes the literal and figurative walls that often make personal growth feel restricted or unattainable. Natural settings promote relaxation, openness, and deeper reflection—your view is never truly blocked because there’s always something beautiful to see. You’re completely immersed in the environment you’re naturally meant to be in.

Meet Amanda
Amanda’s respect for nature began from an early age. Growing up on a farm, she had the chance to see nature in all its power. She saw how the weather supported the land and how the land supported the creatures who thrived upon it. In the orchard where Amanda and her siblings used to play, a large tree became the focal point for much of their creative childhood experiences. It was an ancient tree that, even in its death, was a thriving centre of life. Amanda and her siblings had a treehouse there, and had many adventures like discovering a litter of new puppies within the shelter of the tree, forging unforgettable family memories. This tree—the very tree in her logo—was always strong against the forces of nature, weathering every storm. This instilled in Amanda an urge to take solace in nature each time she needed comfort or was facing challenges in her life. Her experiences in nature growing up have shaped her adult life and she is deeply moved by the rejuvenating power of the outdoors. Her deep connection with nature is what motivates her to share it with others through nature-based Wellness Coaching. She wants to help guide others towards finding what she found in nature: solace, serenity, and safety. A safe place to unburden yourself and to tap back into your authentic voice. Because reconnecting with nature helps people reconnect with themselves.
Amanda Lapointe is a certified Wellness Coach, trained by the renowned Life Coach, PhD, and Harvard-trained sociologist Martha Beck. All of Amanda’s techniques are supported by the research findings, practices, and advice of Dr. Beck.

1. Examination Of The Self
Here’s a sample of some of the techniques you and Amanda may use together to tap into your inner wisdom, depending on your needs, what suits you best, and your comfort level. Mindfulness and body awareness Being acutely aware of how it feels to be in your body helps you reconnect with your intuition. Where do you hold tension? How does your body react to challenges, interpersonal situations, or successes? How does it feel to be joyful, stressed, calm, or loving? Tuning into your body unlocks a wealth of insight, knowledge, and clarity regarding situations that are buried deep within us. Let’s boost the volume of your authentic, intuitive voice to help you gain the confidence to guide yourself forward. Dream analysis When we sleep, our brain processes the experiences and emotions we didn’t have time (or space) to deal with while we’re awake. This processing often manifests in our dreams. Analyzing your dreams can bring insight and meaning to your deepest desires, fears, and feelings, helping you truly understand yourself, your past, and your next steps. Thought work It’s surprising how much of our suffering is a result of our thoughts, rather than our circumstances. To improve the state of our affairs in life, we need to work with thoughts that are aligned with both our deepest sense of truth and all our ways of knowing—knowing with the heart, the body, the mind, and the spirit. So many of us suffer from deep-rooted thoughts caused by childhood experience or unhealthy habits ingrained in our culture. By unpacking and examining these painful thoughts, we can gently tease out the cause of your suffering. By accessing your own sense of truth, you can set yourself free from these painful thoughts. Heart Coherence Heart coherence taps into the heart-brain connection. Certain heartbeat patterns are strongly indicative of specific emotional and cognitive states: when the heart is beating in a disordered pattern, we’re prevented from being able to do things like thinking clearly, remembering things, learning, reasoning, and making decisions. On the other hand, when the heartbeat is regular and stable, we’re able to think clearly and calmly, feel positive feelings, reduce stress, and regulate our emotions. Luckily, we can control the regularity of our heartbeat using a variety of breathing techniques. Heart coherence helps keep you happy, your brain healthy, and your heart calm, allowing all your physiological and emotional states to be aligned. This allows you to conquer anxiety and live in peace. Envisioning/Manifesting Envisioning/manifesting involves intentionally imagining a specific future outcome that you desire in extremely vivid detail. By engaging both your emotions and senses, it can guide you towards the right next steps to achieving that outcome. Envisioning helps people get unstuck from their unhealthy habits and mindsets by clarifying their goals and direction. By picturing exactly where/what/how you want to be and how it will feel, you’ll have the clarity and the motivation to confidently take steps towards achieving your strongest desires.
2. Authentic Partnership
When you sign on to work with Amanda, you’re signing up for a trusted partnership characterized by loyalty, encouragement, honesty, and authenticity. Amanda’s first priority is to help you rediscover your authentic, intuitive voice and to reconnect you back to your nature. To do this, she is committed to providing a safe space for you to unburden yourself and an unbiased, supportive person to bounce ideas off of in a confidential, non-judgemental setting. She’s always rooting for you and your happiness. The open, honest exchange of ideas is the most effective way forward. One of the ways in which Amanda is committed to creating this environment for your partnership is through one-on-one coaching sessions where you’ll work together to help you discuss and achieve your goals. These sessions will be full of thought work, meditation, manifestation, and anything else that would be helpful to you.
3. Movement and Immersion
Another core component of the Rebuilding Eden method is walking sessions. You and Amanda take a walk outside through nature and talk through your goals, your challenges, your stresses, and anything else under the sun related to your personal growth, health, and happiness. These kinds of sessions are available to anyone at any stage in their life coaching process: whether you’re interested immediately or you want to combine it with your coaching plan after a few one-on-one traditional sessions. Walking through nature is an extremely effective way to motivate personal growth: not only does it set an unpretentious and natural tone for your sessions with Amanda, but it also reduces barriers to telling the truth and tapping into your deepest thoughts, feelings, and fears. When you speak aloud outside, nature absorbs your words, supporting you through your reflection process. Nature is the perfect backdrop for personal breakthroughs and self-discovery. It’s also the perfect mechanism to encourage growth. Because in nature, the only constant is growth and change. Moving in nature brings you back in alignment with the rhythms of the earth, breaking down barriers to change and self-reflection.
